Our Refund & Return Policy

At CY Global Technologies, customer satisfaction is our priority. We take pride in delivering quality laptops, desktops, and IT accessories, both new and pre-owned. This policy explains how refunds, returns, and exchanges are handled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or exchange if:

  • The product is defective or faulty upon delivery.

  • The incorrect product was delivered.

  • The product fails to perform as described or expected, within the warranty period.

To qualify for a return:

  • You must notify us within 7 days of delivery.

  • The product must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories and proof of purchase.

2. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repair.

  • Software, licenses, or downloadable digital products.

  • Items with broken security seals or missing serial numbers.

3. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified of approval or rejection.
If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method.

  • If payment was made via EFT, you may be asked to provide bank details for processing.

4. Pre-Owned (Renewed) Products

All pre-owned laptops and desktops are tested, certified, and guaranteed to be in excellent working condition.
They carry a limited warranty period, clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Refunds or replacements for pre-owned items apply only in cases of technical faults reported within the warranty period.

5. Exchanges

If the product qualifies for replacement, a new or equivalent model will be provided based on stock availability.
If the item is out of stock, you may choose between a store credit or a full refund.

6. Delivery and Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our error (defective or wrong item), CY Global Technologies will cover the return shipping costs.

  • For all other return reasons, the customer is responsible for return delivery fees.

7. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before shipment for a full refund. Once dispatched, cancellations will be treated as returns and subject to this policy.
